Our History

The Weatherby family originates from the historic town of Wetherby, England, located in West Yorkshire. Situated on the river Wharfe, this market town has become well known for its charm hospitality, boutiques, weekly markets, it’s international champion floral displays, Wetherby Bridge, Wetherby railway, the Wetherby Castle and most of all, the Wetherby Racecourse steeplchasing!

Steeped in tradition, the Weatherby’s involvement in the horse industry spans four centuries. Their passion for horses initially sparked in Europe, over three hundred years ago and continues today. The commencement of ‘Weatherby Equine,’ January 2021, marked the beginning of a new Weatherby tradition in a long line of equine heritage. Developing a line of all-natural equine products, each of which to include multiple qualities for that product’s specific use in order to preserve time and money, was the mission. This goal was achieved with several of their products, the first released in 2023, called ‘Total Groom and Treatment Solution.’ A complete, all-natural grooming rejuvenation spray to heal and protect a horse’s skin and hair. This formula deeply moisturizes, protects hair from harsh weather, renews and grows hair, heals and defends skin, detangles, produces shine without oily residue, is gentle on sensitive horses, antibacterial, antifungal, PH balanced, smells amazing and most important, is all-natural! No more dragging around many products for grooming a horse. No wonder this ‘magic mist’ ignited such a following! Top-level horse farms using it daily for the care of their champion show horses, such as Windermere Farms Percherons, can attest to its superior results!
